Grid-led siting
We start with transmission capacity, not land.

We develop grid-connected energy and AI infrastructure in Australia — making the most of the networks we already have, for a cleaner digital future.
Australia's AI and digital economy is growing faster than its electricity network can connect new load. In New South Wales alone, data centre connection enquiries now exceed 20 GW — around double the state's peak demand — and capacity across the Sydney basin is effectively committed.
Voltstream exists to close that gap. We originate and develop large-scale infrastructure at locations with existing high-voltage transmission, available land and fibre — including former coal-generation regions where the network was built for gigawatt-scale power flows. We secure the land, the grid connection and the approvals, then partner with investors, operators and hyperscale customers to deliver powered capacity, faster.
We start with transmission capacity, not land.
Experience across battery storage, grid connection and data centre development.
Our sites reflect NSW Government’s preference for regional, brownfield locations with spare network capacity.
Long-term jobs, local supply chains and community benefit in the regions we invest in.

An integrated approach, from grid to computeIdentify land with direct access to high-voltage transmission, fibre and water, and secure site control.
Lead grid-connection studies and agreements with network operators and planning approvals with government and community.
Deliver the substation and bulk power to the site boundary, and partner with data centre operators and hyperscale customers on powered-land, powered shell or fully built models.

The proposed Mt Piper AI Data Centre Precinct brings together land, transmission infrastructure and compute development. The project is in early development; capacity, design and delivery remain subject to studies and approvals.
Community engagement, local supply chains and long-term regional opportunities are part of our approach. Contact the project team to ask a question or register for updates.

We develop the land, grid connection and approvals for large-scale energy and AI data centre infrastructure.
We focus on Australian locations with existing high-voltage transmission, available land and fibre. Our featured Mt Piper project is in Portland, New South Wales.
Through the grid, backed by long-term contracts for new renewable generation and storage, in line with the NSW Data Centre Guidelines.
We engage early, prioritise local jobs and suppliers, and put in place long-term benefit-sharing.
