Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This policy explains how personal information is handled when you browse this Voltstream website or contact the project team about our energy infrastructure and proposed Mt Piper AI Data Centre Precinct.
1. Who to contact
For website privacy enquiries, access or correction requests, or complaints, contact the Voltstream project team at azhai@voltstreamltd.com. Please use “Privacy enquiry” in the subject line.
2. Information you choose to provide
When you send an enquiry, we receive the information you include: your name, email address, optional telephone number and postcode, stakeholder category, and message. Please avoid including sensitive information or information about another person unless it is necessary and you are authorised to share it.
3. How the enquiry form works
The current form prepares an email in your own email application. It does not submit the enquiry to a website database or send it automatically. You can review, edit or discard the email before sending. The project team receives your information only if you send the email. Your email provider also processes it under its own terms and privacy policy.
4. Why information is used
Information sent to us is used to answer your enquiry, communicate about the project or partnership opportunities you have raised, manage stakeholder feedback, and maintain relevant correspondence. Requesting a response does not by itself subscribe you to unrelated marketing. If you ask for project updates, you can stop receiving them by contacting us or replying to an update.
5. Website operation and service providers
The site’s hosting, delivery and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, requested URLs, timestamps and security logs. This website is currently hosted through ChatGPT Sites; private access may require ChatGPT authentication. Authentication and hosting information is also subject to the provider’s privacy practices. The website code does not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts or its own tracking cookies. Hosting and sign-in providers may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for their services.
6. Sharing and overseas processing
Enquiries may be handled by the project team and service providers involved in responding to them, including email and IT providers. Information may also be disclosed where required or authorised by law. Hosting, authentication and email services may process information outside Australia. The processing locations depend on those providers and the service configuration; contact us for the available details. We do not offer your enquiry information for sale.
7. Security and retention
Use ordinary email for general enquiries, rather than sending highly sensitive material. No online transmission or storage method is completely secure. Correspondence may be kept for as long as needed to respond, manage project engagement or meet applicable record-keeping requirements. Contact us if you wish to request deletion; legal or operational record-keeping requirements may limit what can be removed.
8. Access, correction and choice
You may ask what personal information the project team holds about you and request access or correction. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You can contact us without giving your full name where practical, although a working contact method is needed if you want a response. Any refusal of a request will be explained where required by law.
9. Privacy complaints
Send your complaint and relevant details to the email above. We aim to acknowledge it promptly and respond within 30 days, or explain if more time is needed. If it is not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where the complaint is within its jurisdiction.
10. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to this website or its information handling. The date above identifies the latest version. Other linked websites have their own privacy policies.
